Roy Disney Dead – We received a report earlier that Roy Disney is Dead. He is the nephew of Walt Disney who is credited for bringing the “new golden age of animation”. He is the one behind Walt Disney hits such as The Little Mermaid and Lion King. He died due to stomach cancer earlier today at Newport Beach, California. He was 79 years old.

The company released a statement through there website where they cited Roy Disney as “a successful businessman, philanthropist, filmmaker, and award- winning sailor, who played a key role in the revitalization of The Walt Disney Company and Disney’s animation legacy.”
