Certified Hollywood most versatile actor,JOHNNY Depp spurges $80,000 worth of coats!

Before we get too excited and compare the Pirates of the Caribbean star to some female socialites,Captain Jack himself bought those coats to the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides crew to keep them all warm.

The 47-year-old superstar spent $80,000 from his mullti-million coffers in purchasing 500 waterproof hiking jackets costing $160 each for all those who work with him on the set of his latest action movie, to protect them from the cold weather.

“Johnny paid out of his own pocket for all 500 of us to have a nice warm waterproof,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“It’s a great morale boost and another example of why he is one of the nicest people in Hollywood.”

The latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series is currently progressing and at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire in England, where the recent spell of cold weather gave the star the idea of treating his staff.

Johnny Depp,who is not only known for his superb acting and unique role characters,has also been praised for having a generous heart to all his co-workers and supporters.

Earlier this month,Johnny Depp in his full Captain Jack Sparrow costume,made a surprise visit to the Meridian Primary School in South London.

Johnny had received a letter from nine-year-old pupil Beatrice Delap.

“He gave me a hug and he said, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t mutiny today because there are police outside monitoring me’,” he said.
