Optimum star Claudine Barretto faced a real-life teleserye scene when she received a phone call from her daughter Sabina’s nanny informing her that an unknown stalker attempted to kidnap the little kid.

Claudine Barretto, together with her husband Raymart Santiago, is worried upon receiving the call. They called the police immediately and had an entrapment operation. The suspect was caught and she claimed that she is just an obsessed fan who wants to be close to her idol’s family.

The reason why the Santiago family panicked is because of the information the stalker has in hand. The police also found out that the so-called “obsessed” fan has a number of male accomplices.

I truly admire Raymart and Claudine for doing the right thing by reporting the incident to the authorities. The situation showed how the lovely couple loves their adopted daughter.
