The Coopers Beach Southampton New York has been named the the BEST BEACH in the United States.

Stephen Leatherman, better known as Dr. Beach, makes a list annually of the best beaches around the country. This year, he awarded the top spot to  Coopers Beach Southampton New York!. He takes in a lot of factors such as location, water temperature,  smell, sand quality waves, water quality and the presence of annoyances like jellyfish.

This year, Dr. Beach announced his 20th anniversary list to the top 10 beaches in the US! Though Coopers Beach Southhampton New York won the top spot, the only complaint people have is that it costs $40 to park there.
