Caught in a sexual allegation, British soccer-star David Beckham filed libel case against Irma Nici-the alleged hooker he allegedly had an affair-for her publicized claims of their “so-called” affair is now counter-sued by the hooker,according to RadarOnline.com.
Nici is represented by Atty. Paul Rolf Jensen. According to her legal representation,, Nici filed her suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court Friday.She filed for a special motion to strike the soccer heartthrob’s libel lawsuit.
“California law does not allow public figures like David Beckham to stifle free speech,” Jensen says. “Maybe he didn’t live here in Los Angeles long enough to learn how precious we here consider our rights to tell the truth in print.”
The former Manchester United player is married to spice Girl -turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham, is also suing the magazine that printed Nici’s allegations.
According to RadarOnline.com,Nici’s lawyer separately filed a cross-complaint for emotional and physical injuries he says she received when a process server showed up at her New York hotel with Beckham’s lawsuit last week. Her suit claims she was hounded until she had to leave the hotel.
“She was immediately hospitalized as a direct result of this event,” Jensen says. “Beckham is responsible for his goon’s conduct, and we will hold him liable for it.”
This is not the first cheating allegation that associates the soccer player, he was once singled out by a multi-millionaire lawyer who claims that his wife,Shery Shabani-a friend of his wife Victoria Beckham,was having an illicit affair with the world-renowned athlete. Both Shabani and David fiercely deflected all the allegations.
