According to news reports, Diet and the rest of the Star Magic talnets were rehearsing for their show when the actor suddenly had a difficulty in breathing. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with Kristine Hermosa and Kitkat accompanying him. It was later found out that the actor is suffering from a congenital heart disease.
