Yasmien Kurdi recently narrated how she spent her christmas break.

The young actress fulfilled her promise of visiting her friend Marky Cielo’s home at Mt. Province together with her loving mom and two other members of the MarYas (Marky Cielo-Yasmien Kurdi) Fan Club.

Marky Cielo and Yasmien Kurdi were first paired at the TV show Bakekang and later on recorded a song together for the Starstruck loveteams entitled “Kanina”.

Before Marky Cielo died, he used to dub the voice of the lead character of the Anime series Bleach together with Yasmien Kurdi.

Indeed, Yasmien Kurdi is a true friend. Her group also went to Baguio City and Sagada.

Is it true that our favorite onscreen and offscreen couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos are getting married on May 11?

Last year, the two lovebirds announced their engagement and they’re planning to get married by 2009. Judy Ann once said in an interview that she wants to get married on the month of May, her birth month.

We do really hope that the Agoncillo-Santos nuptial will finally come true this year! The two good actors have been working so hard the past few years and did well in their respective careers. Maybe it’s about time to tie the knot and live happily ever after.

The sunday talkshow The Buzz started the year with a bang as they were able to invite the controversial star Angel Locsin in their Tough Ten segment.

Obviously, Angel was nervous at the start of the show. Some of the facts that she revealed are the following:

* She is a stubborn daughter to her blind yet loving father.

* If there’s one advice she can give her mom, that is to learn to spend her money wisely.

* The three biggest issues thrown at her are:
1. The alleged Angel Locsin sex scandal video
2. Angel Locsin’s mom is a maid.
3. The whole kapuso-to-kapamilya career move.

* Some of the actors whom she considers as the sexiest are Sam Milby, Jericho Rosales, Aga Muhlach, Richard Gutierrez and of course, Luis Manzano.

* She is perfectly happy right now: Career-wise, her family and of course, her lovelife.

Hunk actor Paolo Contis was recently seen at Boracay with EB Babe Member Lian Paz. The two are said to be in the “Getting to know each other” stage. Some says that Paolo and Lian are now an item.

It was reported last November that Paolo Contis ended his three year relationship with Isabel Oli due to “personal differences”. What can Isabel Oli say about this? Hmmmm…

Jun Magdangal, father of multi-talented actress/singer/host/entrepreneur Jolina Magdangal confirmed the breakup of her daughter with Bebong Munoz.

The reason behind the break-up is not yet clear as of writing.

We feel sad about this news. We all know that Jolina Magdangal supported Bebong in his political plans and they’ve been together for more than six years.

The first Startalk episode of 2009 will be a hot one as the controversial personalities Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. and Katrina Halili defends themselves in their interviews to be shown today.

Katrina Halili expressed how offended she is with the term “fun”, which Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. used in describing their short-lived affair.

Meanwhile, Doc Hayden explains his side about the past interview he had done for 24oras days before Christmas.

While the two hot bodies are fighting, Dr. Vicki Belo remains quiet.

Did you miss the “Aalog-alog” trio of Jayson, John and Zanjoe?

The three funny guys are back via the comedy afternoon show entitled “Parekoy” which will finally premiere this monday, January 6 after Wowowee.

If we are not mistaken, the show was supposed to be shown last April 2008. We don’t really know the reason behind the delay.

The show also stars Bobby Andrews, Angelu de Leon, Charee Pineda among others.

Parekoy is directed by Randy Santiago and Quark Henares.

The Marky Cielo and Lovi Poe loveteam is one of the promising pairs of GMA-7. The two appeared in a number of top-rated shows like Bakekang, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Kaputol ng Isang Awit and La Lola.

The Sunday afternoon show Dear Friend which is hosted by Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal pays tribute to the late Marky Cielo.

Wowowee host and One Night Only star Valerie Concepcion graces the cover of Maxim Philippines for its January 2008 issue.
