Hyundai will be introducing its new brand of car models called Hyundai Equus.

The most luxurious Hyundai ever has just been launched in South Korea called Hyundai Equus. The long-wheelbase version of the Hyundai Equus callled the Equus Stretch is the largest and most expensive vehicle in the Hyundai car line-up.

The fresh Hyundai EQUUS accompanies a choice of deuce convoluted locomotives: The ‘Lambda’ 3.8 V6 and the award-winning ‘Tau’ 4.6 V8.
To maximize power while downplaying emissions and fire ingestion, both locomotive engine characteristic all-aluminum expression, continuously variable quantity valve timing, variable air generalisation systems and is copulated to six-speed infections.

The ‘Lambda’ V6, good for 213 kilowatt and a peak torque rating of 358 Nm, cedes an telling fuel saving rating of 10.8 liters / 100 kilometre. The ‘Tau’ 4.6 V8, named by Detroit-based guards Autos as one of 2009’s ‘Best 10 locomotives’, delivers 269 kW and 439 Nm of torsion with a fuel thriftiness rating of 11.4 liters / 100 km,

From the driver’s seat, the Hyundai Equus feels a lot like the Hyundai Genesis, which is no real surprise since they share an architecture. The suspension and steering tuning is quite a bit different, however. In the Hyundai Equus, the steering effort stays relatively light no matter how fast the car is going, while the feedback from Hyundai Genesis wheel gets heavier with speed. With either setup, the feel is quite good, but considering the comfortable cruising mission of the Hyundai Equus, car users actually prefer its steering feel.

Bumps, pothole patches, frost heaves, and anything that might upset lesser cars—the Hyundai Equus takes them all in stride. Impacts are barely audible and the structure feels rock solid.

The 4.6-liter V8 of Hyundai Equus has plenty of power. It’s smooth, and nearly transparent in most of its operations.

What do you think about the new Hyundai Equus? Will it replace Lexus LS460 or Mercedes Benz S Class?
