International Holocaust Remembrance Day – Today is the celebration of Holocaust Remembrance Day. The celebration of Holocaust Remembrance Day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 60/7 on 1 November 2005 to remember victims of the Nazi era headed by Adolf Hitler.

Several Israeli leaders are in Europe today to meet with other leaders to commemorate the Holocaust celebrating Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Special events will also be taking place today in Auschwitz.To commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, please join your local candle-lighting ceremony, or/and teach your friends and loved ones about the importance to “Remember” and the meaning of “Never Again.”
