Ipad Review CNET: Ipad a Disappointment: Ipad Reviews and Comparisons – Many people are searching for the reviews related to the Apple’s iPad and they are trying to compare it with the other existing tech products or devices. The reaction to the iPad has been less positive than it was expected. CNET that is one of the most respected sources of the technology information has stated that being a portable computer, iPad needs some improvement.

Viewers have shown dissatisfaction with this product. Nobody knows about the usage of this product and in what replace this is launched. Its size, price, specs, content availability and the usage model all dissatisfied the customers. it is not a phone, not a laptop or a music player then what is its target market and who will be its potential buyers. This will be cleared within next 60 days.

CNET.com has reviewed the Apple iPad.  It seems like the review had mixed feelings about the new device. In the review, CNET referred to the iPad as an “iPod Touch with glandular problems” and calls the name iPad a “cringe-worthy name”.  Other negatives that CNET listed included the “in between” size of the iPad.  Bigger than an iPod and smaller than a lap top.  He noted that some people will find it tiresome to hold and use the iPad over lengthy periods.  The author of the review, also noted that the tricky pricing of the iPad will be a deal breaker for some potential iPad users.

Your day according to Google: The gods at CNET have spoken about the iPad, and the verdict is that Apple’s much ballyhooed e-reader is somewhat disappointing, but it doesn’t entirely suck. The software Web site suggests the first version is more like a concept car than something you’d really drive to the office and suggests waiting for future iterations with more features at a lower price.

On Wednesday it was said that the trademark of the iPad were its crisp display, touch capabilities and thin profile and it was just a bigger iPod Touch or iPhone. It has been described by the CNET review of the 64 GB model that iPad has a iPod Touch with a glandular problem. According to another review iPad is the reinvention of notebook by the Apple. It has also been pointed by the CNET review that iPad has the operating system which is the version of the operating system of iPhone. It has a storage space of 64GB, its display is 9.7 inches and it has 1GHZ Apple processor.

The pricing for the iPad is tricky.  The base model will have 16GB of storage and retail for $499.  For more storage, you can choose the 32GB model for $599 or the 64GB model for $699.  These models will have wifi capabilities.   A line of iPads with 3G wireless data support will be available in May, only it will cost $130 extra for each respective model (i.e., $629, $729, and $829). If you go the 3G route, you’ll also need to pay for an additional data plan (currently provided by AT&T with no contract), setting you back $14.99 a month for 250MB of data, or $29 for “unlimited” usage.

Well this device oobvoiosly is NOT what expected, now it’s very commmon for Steve to be launching these kind of useless crap constantly. And the price is also absurd for suck a null featured product.
It’s much more convenient to buy an Acer netbook (which is far more powerful and chea) than that useless junk.

When Steve brought out the iPad during his presentation it looked like a giant iTouch prop that you would use so the folks in the back of the room could see what you were holding.

I can’t say that I’m surprised that the reviews are not overly positive so far.

I did laugh pretty hard at the mock iPad advertisement posted here:

    MrCreative.com

    Now THAT’S funny right there!

I am a fond user of Windows Machines since I am a technician. I even have Windows 6.5 OS on my phone. I was hoping, one day, to get an innovative Apple product in the family to at least say I have one that I use. But honestly, they keep failing at the same things they have been with their other mobile devices (Iphone, Ipod). I watched the whole presentation about the Ipad hoping that they would unvail multitasking technology, TRUE full featured web support integrating Flash, an integrated G P S (what happened there?), and a camera for web confrencing. Unfortuantely, I was let down again and felt the same way I did when they unvailed the Iphone in ’07. There most expensive IPAD with 3G support for 899? Come on, we are in the high end laptop categories with BluRay players and high def screens. I can’t see it. Once again, I will give my money to Microsoft.

Apple, come on… I really wanted to spend the money on one of these but it’s really lacking in some key areas. Ok, I can live without the Flash support, but no GPS? A true mobile device will have at least GPS functionality. I guess I will have to wait another 3 years for an improved Ipad 3G S…

I think the major problem with this device is the closed off OS system. Imagine it had a normal OS and you could install a variety of programs such as word, excell or what ever other programs we are used to using. Then there would be a truly more convenient mobile device.

What everyone seems to miss is the big picture here. The success of the iPad is not the iPad or what it has or doesn’t have. The success will be in how users interact with content on the iPad, this is the future of computing, the days of the mouse are numbered and Apple is leading the way.

Morons…the device is unbelievable successful and useful. You can’t even purchase it without sitting on a waiting list. And I love how some recommend Windows 7 instead…retards

Remember the presentation Steve Jobs gave? He was pacing up and down the stage, exclaiming words of “amazing, extraordinary, innovative, latest creation, ..etc” he was knowingly lying, hiding key facts about the 12 big fails of the device, no gps, no camera, no multitasking, no installing of standard programs, no flash playing, not allowing anybody to interrupt and question him in public. He was concealing all those key data from the consumers, he was beguiling and misleading them and 2 million people giving him the money because they cannot control themselves to responsible buying decisions. I will not buy it because I reject people who try to cheat me.
