Is Viva Artist Agency giving Sarah Geronimo the Talent Fee she deserves?

Ever since Sarah Geronimo started out her career when she won in a singing contest, Sarah Geronimo is under the management of Viva Artist Agency. We’ve been hearing a lot of allegations about the talent fee of Ms. Sarah Geronimo in her shows and concerts.

We all know that Sarah Geronimo is one of the most popular artists in the country today. People support her albums, shows and even movies. She was awarded as box-office queen for 2008 for “A Very Special Love” and the sophomore Sarah-JLC movie You Changed My Life even earned more money thus making Star Cinema and Viva Films happy.

But hey, we heard some rumors that Sarah Geronimo was measly paid Php200,000 for “A Very Special Love” and Php 300,000 for “You Changed My Life”.

We do assume that John Lloyd Cruz got millions for this film, but the unbelievable thing here is Sarah Geronimo only got not even half a million for the movie! That is not fair! Star Cinema recently issued a statement regarding the issue and they stated that they’re just following what VAA is asking them to pay the actress. Hmmmm… something’s fishy.

    We paid $16.00 just to see your movie .
    i’am not a fan of your’s and neither a movie goer but i must admitt i have so much fun watching your movies .

    Star Cinema should already stop saying ..sumusunod lang sila agreement to Viva’s boss Vic , they should come forward and defend Sarah’s TF but the bottom line is they are both “GREEDY and NO CONSCIENCE” ,
    di na naawa sa mabait na bata .Porke alam nila na tatanggapin dahil sa matinding pangangailangan upang itulong sa magulang .
    Quiet frankly , ang tagal ko na dito sa America pero di ako gumastos para lang manood ng cine .At saka di ako nag-re-react
    esp. with movie stars , pero naawa ako ng mabasa ko sa pilipino news paper kung paano sya “NALOKO” ng two big movie firm .
    Siguro we should stop patronizing any movies
    produce by Viva & Star Cinema tutal barya lang sila magbayad sa mga deserving talents
    nila like Sarah .
    Kumita na sila ng husto sa Pilipinas tapos doble pa ang kinita abroad and yet they don’t
    know how to share their blessings .

    You are absolutely correct. I hate all forms of injustices…………….. at first I hated Viva for this issue….now that I learn from you about the side of Star Cinema…….I abhor them now with all my heart. They should be punished.

    nawalan na nga ako gana bumili ng CD’s ni Sarah kasi pinapayaman lang niya iba tao, pero siya todo kumayod. she don’t deserve her talent fee kung true na 200-300k lang, she deserves more…

    I am a bit different than most of Sarah Geronimo fans. I am an American male I fell in love with this performer from the first time I saw one of her performances. I can not believe what I have read here that she is only getting PHP300,000 for a movie she stars in, this is ridiculous she is an enormous talent and deserves much much more, Sarah definitely needs new management. She is being paid so low because she is a young woman, I can only urge her to demand the millions she so richly deserves for being such a Great Great artiest. I have only one more question. What is she getting out of her singing career? I buy every CD and DVD of her that I can get my hands on and I only hope she is getting the rewards for her great performances. to end Sarah please demand a new manager someone who will look out for you as you deserve to looked after, you are a true National Philippine treasure.

    huwat????????????? Is this from a reliable source? this is not good, this fee is too small. well I guess, bec. this was just her 1st and 2nd movie, they didn’t realise that it would make this huge in box office BUT she shld be given a bonus, bec of the returns.

    She shld. at least get a million pesos for ea. MOVIE if not more, in my opinion. Money is not everything but she shldn’t be taken advantage of and she shld. get what she deserves.
