Michael Jackson must be very proud of his little sister upon watching her perform at the 2009 American Music Awards. Though popular acts such as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Adam Lambert and Whitney Houston performed for the music loyalists, there is no doubt that Janet Jackson’s performance is the most memorable.

Janet Jackson performed a medley of her own hits and also sang her new single called “Make Me”. At the end of her performance, she had a simple yet meaningful tribute to her brother, Michael Jackson while singing the song “Together Again”.
