British star KEIRA Knightley does not think that she is one of the shiniest stars in the entertainment world.

According to ShowbizSpy, the stunning 25 year old Knightley has struggled to acknowledge how successful she is as an actress.

Knightley who has starred in several blockbuster movie such as the Pirates of the Caribbean,Atonement,The Duchess and The Edge of Love, still has some reservations at her popularity.

“It’s taken me time to overcome my own doubts and insecurities,” she said. “It’s been my nature not to want to believe in my own success and that I don’t deserve my success. But that’s something I’ve fought to overcome.I’m getting better, but the terror is still occasionally there!” she said.

Who would’ve thought that the talented Keira still fears for an important scene? One less talented would’ve assumed that acting comes easily to stars like Keira Knightley.However, Knightley revealed that she has to ward off and fight her fears in avoidance to create a mess.

“Sometimes you have to fight your fear prior to an important scene. You don’t want to make a mess of things. I try not to place so much pressure on myself now.”

Despite being apprehensive about some things, the Pirates of the Caribbean is determined to show the world that there is more to Keira Knightley than what the people have already seen.

“I’m still young and know I will be able to show people that I can play much more complex characters than anything I’ve done up to now,” she said.

“I just have to be patient and take advantage of opportunities that come my way.”
