Korean superstar Bi Rain failed to appear on his scheduled press conference this afternoon at the Manila Hotel in Manila, Philippines.
The press meet up was initially scheduled at 2 pm today and was duly cancelled at the last minute by the event organizers.Rain’s reps released a statement to the members of the press that there was a miscommunication between the Philippine promotersand Rain’s management team about the schedule of the press engagement.
Mr. Jung of Rain’s management team explained thru an interpreter that
the the Korean superstar’s team thought that the press event will be on September 9th,Thursday and not September 6,Monday.
The Korean actor-singer will have a one night concert this coming September 11th, to be held in SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City.
A Korean boyband, U-Kiss and Asian sensationation Christian Bautista will be the concert’s special guests.The concert is entitled: Intensity.
Smart Communications and TV5 are the concert sponsors.
Bi Rain, who had landed quietly on Philippine soil a week ago in Mactan International Airport,is busy filming his Korean TV series titled Fugitive.
TV5 has gotten the rights to broadcast his series in Philippine TV under the title Runaway.
Rain,28 rose to popularity in Philippines in his endearing role in Full House and eventually his fame 
rose as his Filipino fans discovered that he is indeed a superstar not just in Korea but in entire East Asia
and parts of Southeast Asia.
Rain also starred in Hollywood film Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin.
All in all,Rain has released seven albums and built his very own music company named J Tune Entertainment.
