Kapuso viewers were excited last year when the teaser for Captain Barbell Meets Darna was shown. However, the project never pushed through. Marian Rivera was tasked to do Dyesebel instead.
Now that Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang is rearing its finale, GMA-7 officially announced that Marian Rivera is the new Darna, which was formerly portrayed by her closest rival, Angel Locsin.
Who will be the next Valentina? Alessandra de Rossi is with the Kapamilya station already. Who will play the role of Efren? Dennis Trillo is set to do a soap opera with Jennica Garcia. Hmmmm… It seems like we will be meeting new actors to play the most loved and hated characters in Narda’s life! Can’t wait!
