Known for being bubbly, noisy, fashion savvy and most of all the ever in love noon time show host who risked everything for love. She is no other than Mariel Rodriguez. She started her hosting career as one of the co-hosts in the most controversial noon time show of Abs-Cbn, Wowowee lead by Willie Revillame. We already know what happened to the show and where it is now. Then Mariel became one of the hosts of the reality show Pinoy Brother with Bianca Gonzales and Toni Gonzaga who later on turned out to be her real life friends. That was the time that people was able to know her,at least being a host. Now she shocked everyone when she revealed that she is indeed transferring to TV5, and reunite with her former co-host Willie Revillame for Will Time Big Time. When the issue was still a rumor, her closest friends were nudged by a lot of showbiz portals for any details about it. But then, Mariel herself revealed the entire thing and never failed to thank all her big bosses in Abs-Cbn including her manager Boy Abunda. They all wish her the best and remained supportive in her chosen career.

At this very day, she will have her debut appearance in Will Time Big Time as they will have a grand show in Amoranto Stadium. Since yesterday evening, huge number of people already started filling the streets near the venue hoping to win the big prize. It has always been a common scenario for people who has been entrusting their fortune to game shows to queue outside their venue hours and hours before it starts. We just can’t blame them, easy, big money is at stake that could somehow change their life forever. They don’t care if it would mean losing their very own life as long as they are there and deep inside their heart is the feeling “This is really it!”. No I’m wondering what would our social entrepreneurs like Chris Bech would think about this situation. It’s a social problem that needs immediate attention.

We just hope that this debut appearance of Mariel Rodriguez in the show will be positively memorable. Positive in the sense that it would be remembered because it turned out great and not because it caused harm to the people outside waiting for the show.
