One of the largest beauty pageants in America is Miss America Beauty Pageant. This beauty pageant caters to the best of the best beauties in the whole of America. Each state of USA will be having its own candidate to represent them in the Miss America Pageant 2010.

So when is the Miss America Pageant 2010 date? Actually, the 2010 Miss America Pageant has started already and would be live from Las Vegas which started at 8 pm Eastern Time on January 30, 2010, Saturday on TLC. Mario Lopez was chosen to host the Miss America Pageant 2010.

Meanwhile, the Miss America Pageant 2010 winner Katie Stam got surprised when her long time boyfriend Brian Irk, a personal trainer from Indiana, proposed in front of more than 600 guests during a fundraiser gala, a day before she hands over the crown to the 2010 Miss America beauty queen who will replace her. The couple plans to return home to Indianapolis and hope to plan for a fall wedding.

So what’s the latest about the Miss America Pageant 2010? As of this writing, the talent portion of the pageant has just been finished and they are now into the question and answer portion of the pageant. The Miss America Pageant 2010 host, Mario Lopez, already introduced the following Miss America Pageant 2010 contestants who have qualified from start of the Miss America Pageant 2010.

Here are the 12 Miss America Pageant 2010 contestants who have reached and qualified for the evening gown competition: Miss Oklahoma, Miss Louisiana, Miss Hawaii, Miss Nebraska, Miss Virginia, Miss New Mexico, Miss Colorado, Miss District of Columbia, Miss Tennessee, Miss Kentucky, Miss Texas and Miss California.

MISS AMERICA PAGEANT 2010 UPDATE: Two Miss America Pageant 2010 contestants were already eliminated and these are Miss Oklahoma and Miss Colorado as they announce the Top 10 contestants.

The Miss America Pageant 2010 Winners have just been announced:
Fourth runner-up is Miss Kentucky Mallory Ervin.
Third runner-up is Miss Louisiana Katherine Putnam.
Second runner-up is Miss Tennessee Stephanie Wittler.
First-runner up is Miss California Kristy Cavinder.
Miss America Pageant 2010 Winner is Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron.

    I think it’s total crap to have Miss America canidates answer questions about Tiger Woods when it doesn’t really matter what they think & will only say what is politically correct. This is why ther is no reason for this contest.

    Tami, your ignorance is why America remains divided. With people like you, who are unaccepting of people based on the color of their skin is absolutely despicable. Miss America is a title that these women have worked for, and something to be proud of winning. Miss Virginia is a beautiful, independent American woman and doesn’t need bigots like you tarnishing her moment.

    I like the way the beautiful rightful contenders were wisked away as to not make the final selection laughable. Only a sea of light skinned affirmative action entrees were left.
    Oh well give something else to them… poor things, black men don’t even like black women.

    This is supposed to be a “beauty” pageant. The “beauties” don’t even make the top 10. No wonder this pageant is losing its luster.

    I am a white hispanic and when Miss Virginia was crowned, I was in tears to know that such a beautiful talented girl won the pageant and that the judges saw what we all saw in her. You Tami have no place in this life with such an ignorant comment! why dont dont you look up the word and see yourself, that is exaclty what you are!
