R&B star MONICA is facing questions from the family of her dead boyfriend – because they insist she knows more than she’s admitting about his suicide.
The singer watched as JARVIS WEEMS shot himself in his car back in July 2000 and has spent the past three years trying to get over the tragedy.
But now, Weems’ mother TYRA WEEMS insists Monica’s story doesn’t add up.
She says, “I don’t believe my son killed himself. I feel Monica knows a lot more than she’s admitting.”
Monica claims her then boyfriend, who was 24 when he took his life, phoned her from his car, telling her he was at the cemetary where his brother was buried.
When she got to him he refused to unlock the doors and then shot himself in front of her.
But Tyra refuses to believe her: “The bullet went in on the right side of his head, but he was left-handed. Why would he use the wrong hand to shoot himself?
“The cops just took her word for what happened. Now I wish my son had never met her.”
