It was reported that Meb Keflezighi won the NYC Marathon this year. He’s now the first American man to win the NYC Marathon since 1982.

Derartu Tulu was the winner on the woman’s division, with Paula Radcliffe finishing in fourth place. Paula was seen to drop away from the pack in mile 22, which appeared to be because of a pain in her leg.

It was reported that the 37-year old Tulu seemed to make her move in the final mile of Sunday’s marathon, edging out Russia’s Ludmila Petrova, who not only came in second place this year, but also finished second in last year’s race as well.
