The newbie actress was once a Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Housemate and model.She has appeared on various TV commercial at a young age of 10 years old.

After all the rumors and speculations on her network transfer,Pinto,in her Twitter account confirmed that she is indeed an official GMA talent.

She tweeted: “Thank you KAPUSO family for welcoming me! I’m so excited. So finally I can answer, yes I’m a KAPUSO now.”

After her successful stint as housemate, Sam has made a number
of projects under the Kapamilya network. She appeared a number of times on ABS-CBN noontime program “Wowowee” and musical variety show “ASAP XV.”
She appeared in a “Your Song” episode entitled “Isla”where she was paired with hunky actor-model,Gerald Anderson and some of her fellow PBB Double Up housemates Paul Jake Castillo,Cathy Remperas,Hermes Bautista, Rica Paras,Johan Santos and Patria.

Soon after, she starred as leading lady in “Agimat: Elias Paniki”opposite Jake Cuenca.

Now that she has put an end to circulating rumors of her transfer, Pinto said she is thankful to her fans for understanding her decision to switch network.

She said she is also grateful to them for their continued support.

There were two sets of auditions for this season. The first set of auditions were held in late 2007 in several key cities in the Philippines, as well as the cities of Madrid, Milan, and Dubai. Those auditions also produced the housemates for Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. The second set of auditions for this season, as well as for the third Teen Edition, were held in several key cities in the Philippines and the cities of Tokyo and San Francisco.

This will surely be another exciting event in the history of Philippine Showbiz. Let’s all watch and see who will be the new housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB Season) Double Up!
