Dante Wesley got ejected from the game yesterday for making a rough hit on Clifton Smith. Dante Wesley ran real fast and launched himself into the Buccaneers’ punter, Clifton Smith who had signaled for a fair catch. The happened during the end of the first half of the game.

Reports said that the hit occurred with just ten seconds left in the second quarter, and it brought players from both teams off the sidelines. The teams started pushing and shoving each other!

The Panthers were penalized 15 yards for the hit. The Buccaneers reported that Clifton Smith incurred a concussion from the hit,and would miss the remainder of the game.

Clifton Smith laid on the ground for a few minutes, after when he was hit very hard. He was then helped to his feet and walked off the field.
