A lot are happy with the movie, but a whole lot more are disappointed with the film. Well known critics around the world said that the movie is pure disaster. Yes, it’s disastrous, but not just the story in the film itself, but the whole movie story.

Eric Melin of Scene-Stealers.com said that it’s a 2 hours and forty minutes of the same action scene recycled over and over again.

On the other hand, Bryant Frazer, a well known critic in Rotten Tomatoes said that the 2012 movie is the expensive, large-scale version of the same spectacle presented by downmarket counterparts like the Final Destination and Saw franchises.

Another critic also said that the movie was a boring, stupid, overlong, obnoxious, soulless piece of Hollywood “product.”

Lastly, Dan Lybarger of eFilmCritic.com added that the movie was pointless to fault ’2012′ for being silly or perpetuating scientific and historic baloney. Instead, the new movie’s unforgivable transgression is that it fails to make any of the apocalyptic destruction fun.

Even if a lot gave negative insights and reviews of the 2012 film, fans still loves it. Specially special effects fans and other fans who really don’t care about the story of the film.
