Sexy actress Christina Hendricks does not attract men only; who could be somebody in any preference that doesn’t find her voluptuous anyway? Every man, woman, gay or lesbian is turned on by her charisma!
She tells Harper’s Bazaar in its November issue, “Women hit on me. My husband thinks it’s so odd that so many women hit on me.”
She doesn’t turn on men and women only, but also gays!
“I think it’s so flattering,” she said.
Hendricks was a nominee in the Emmy Awards this year for her work as super secretary Joan Holloway on the AMC drama. Not only that, she has also become a source of inspiration for curvaceous women everywhere.
“When the attention started to be about my figure, I was surprised, because it wasn’t something I was focused on. And then it became very positive, and people were saying very nice things,” she said.
During Mad Men’s first season, one fan approached her and said, “Excuse me, I just want to tell you that I watch your show, and you make me feel better about myself. I am a curvy woman, and you’ve made me feel sexy and beautiful.”
The actress, flattered, was teary eyed after hearing those words.
She also tells about her husband Geoffrey Arend’s impression regarding the actress’s positive influence on other women, “I remember Geoffrey saying, ‘That’s what you’re doing for people. That’s amazing,’ ”
“And I said, ‘I’m just trying to be a good actress and trying to tell a story, but if this is the sidebar, all this positivity, then that is awesome.’ ”
“My mother never said to lose weight,” she added, recalling about how she was taught to have a healthy image.
“Diets were never a big deal. My mom was always beautiful and voluptuous and curvy, and I always thought she was gorgeous.”
