Yasmien Kurdi is set to play the lead role in the new Sinenovela “Saan Darating Ang Umaga”. The other cast members are not yet revealed as of press time but surely, JC De Vera is not her leading man this time.

It was reported that Yasmien Kurdi declined JC’s invitation to appear in his last Obra episode. It was said that it has something to do with the reports that a lot of people are saying that Yasmien is only popular when she is paired with JC.

The accusation is actually unfair. Yasmien is already popular in her own right after she won as the first princess of Starstruck and she also appeared in a number of shows and movies with Rainier Castillo. She has two successful albums under her belt as well.
